Blues Brothers Movie Poster - $14.99

Blues Brothers Movie Poster - $4000 (dropped yesterday from $5000)

Big difference in price...but my question is do you think the second poster is worth $4000?

My personal opinion is that it isn't. I was asked by the seller to promote it here, but I really can't do that.
This was my reply:

Hi
Your Poster: $5000
(Link to $5000 poster)
Someone else's Poster: $14.99
(Link to $14.99 poster)

I don't think even the richest most obsessive Blues Brothers fan would pay $5000 for it.
Even if you could see it prominently on screen, and even if Dan Aykroyd held the poster in the movie, and if it was signed by John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and the entire cast of the movie (even James Brown), you might fetch $2000 for it.

And here is the first reply I got (and no, I didn't deliberately post it in uppercase, that's how it arrived)

FIRST OF ALL YOUR MIS INFORMED THIS POSTER WAS THE ORIGINAL SET USED FOR FILMING THE POSTER YOUR THINKING ABOUT WAS MADE FOR PRODUCTION AFTERWARD THE SIGNATURES WHERE PRINTED BUT THAT POSTER PRINTED AFTER 1980 I RECIEVE THIS FROM THE DIRECTORS ROBERT K WIESS WIFE IT WAS GIVIN TO HIM AT THE END OF FILMING IVE HAVE SPOKEN TO THE PAST AND PRESENT PROP MASTER
THE REASON I KNOW THIS IS BECAUSE I ORIGINALS WHERE NOT SIGNED DURING FILMING THERE FOR THE ONE THE YOUR THINGING OF WAS NOT THE ORIGINAL AH HA !!!!!!!!!!!
IVE DONE MY RESEACH

Before I even read this email, I received another reply 3 minutes later with no text in it, just another picture of the poster attached, and a picture of a page from the old 106miles website, for some reason.

6 minutes later I received yet another reply, keep in mind this was all around 3am so I was asleep...

I MEAN JUST THINK ABOUT IT IT HAS TO THE TRUTH
BUT THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT IN THE FUTURE YOU SHOULD THE RIGHT FACTS I MEAN BEING BLUE BROTHERS CENTRAL AND ALL YOU HAVE A GREAT SITE ITS OK TO BE WRONG
YOU SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT THIS IS CORRECTED ON YOU SITE YOUR INFO IS WRONG

I found these emails a little rude and kind of insulting, but I'm curious if anyone shares my opinions? Am I wrong? Or do you think this poster really is worth $4000?

Update: My reply to HIS replies...

Hi.
Just so you know, typing in capitals in an email means you are shouting at me. Please don't.
I don't know how I can correct something on my site when it isn't even mentioned there.
I really don't believe I am wrong about anything, I'm just telling you my opinion.
A prop that is seen on the screen prominently is known as a 'hero' prop.
Those are the items that are worth thousands of dollars.
This poster, while it was given to Mr Weiss, could have never been used in production.
Without providing such information on your auction as to it's authenticity, nobody would willingly pay $5000 for it.

There are 2 versions of this poster. There was the original version (like yours) which was printed and used in the movie.
Both auctions were for this version.
The other version is the one with the signatures, that came from a book called Blues Brothers Private.

I'm stating the facts when I tell you nobody in their right mind would pay the amount you're asking for, because essentially it is just a 25 year old piece of paper that has only been known to be held by Robert K Weiss, who is unfortunately not that big of a celebrity. Even John Candy's sunglasses from the Blues Brothers movie weren't worth that much money, and he's dead. Not only that, but you could actually see him wearing them on screen during the movie, which makes them more valuable than this poster.

Sell a pair of sunglasses worn by John Belushi during the Blues Brothers movie, include a certificate of authenticity from Universal Studios, and then we'll talk $3000.

Exactly! I was being hypothetical, and yet for some stupid reason he thought I was trying to tell him that the signatures in the Blues Brothers: Private version of the poster were authentic.
