i understand Zee was ment to take the part of Cab in BB2k, but since he didnt, how exactly did he become part of the band? did he just show up?

All I know is that Zee is the blood brother of Jake. Same mother, different father...

I know that since Jim agreed to take part in BB2K, the idea was to introduce the world to the Blues Brothers again, with Brother Zee and Mighty Mack along with Elwood Blues on the mission from god. They began to tour around 1995, and "The Return of the Blues Brothers" was the first concert. The VH1 special "On Parole and In Concert", the Superbowl XXXI halftime show, and the "Live at the Chicago HOB" album all took place before the movie, making them all known once again. Jim had another tv show in the works, it was called "Total Security" I believe, he couldn't film the movie, so the role was changed to Cab. Zee and Elwood still do the BB gig, along with the "Have Love Will Travel" stuff with "The Sacred Hearts" band.

is there a special reason why aykroyd and belushi don't do their gigs with the blues brothers band?
is the bb band too much travelling around, not allowing dan and jim to keep up with their acting jobs or do they want to promote stuff like "have love will travel"?

I really hope they haven't had some sort of falling out, that would be really sad...
