Hi good friends, i was wondering, where can i get the song Green onions, performed by the BBB in BB2000 when Elwood speaks to the band when they ran out of fuel. i have the version of the album The Very best of BB, a version of Booker T and the mags, and another of Tom Petty.
Can anybody help me?

2 Options:
1) Record the audio from the DVD
2) Contact the recording studio and beg them to locate the original masters, mix/master them for you and send you the song for free without worrying about copyrights.

As far as I know, there is no option 3, unless they release the extra songs on a Blues Brothers 2000 Special Edition Soundtrack (with Last Night, Bump & a Grind, etc)

Perhaps talk to Dan about having the rest of the soundtrack released? Perhaps a 2 CD set?

I ripped the sound from the dvd with my pc. It is actually quite cool to have the motivation speech in the song. You should try it. It will probably be worth it. :D :D :D

Maybe somebody can do a rip of the dvd without elwood´s speech (working with the 5.1) Isn´t that bbcentral version of Can´t turn you loose based on the intro scene of the movie without the vocals and looped?

Yes, that's true. I recorded Curtis's speech at the Palace Hotel, and removed his vocals (well 95% of them, listen carefully!).
I might have to try with the 5.1, but it might not work.
