From TV Guide's website. I just noticed this last night, but didn't manage to log in until now.

True Hollywood Story
08:00 AM Eastern
60 mins.
Description: John Belushi, the beloved comic actor who died of a drug overdose in 1982, is profiled. The biography chronicles Belushi's life from his midwestern youth to his troubled, drug-filled final days, charting his meteoric rise from Chicago comedy clubs to Saturday Night Live, "National Lampoon's Animal House", and "The Blues Brothers". The docudrama features Belushi's widow, Judy Belushi Pisano, who reads excerpts from her memoirs about their life together. There are also interviews with the comic's brother Jim Belushi; SNL alums Bill Murray and Laraine Newman; and Cathy Smith, reportedly the last person to see him alive.

I wish I could watch this, but my mom won't let me miss school. -__- Same goes for Dan and Judy's Monday morning appearances on Fox and Friends.

Finally!!!!!!!! I have been waiting to see this all year!!!! I have seen everything about belushi on film except this!!!! I noticed some picture stills of the E THS and was blown away buy the actual non movie footage it seems to have. For those who have seen it, what are some of the good points to expect? and I cant wait to hear what that bitch cathy smith has to say. (if she's interviewed)

I am going to set my alarm clock in order to be up and tape it. I looked on THS website and seen that it wasent aired since like 96 or something?

thanks for the Good news

You know what? Since it said it was only going to be an hour long, I told my dad to stop it at 9, but if it was still on to not touch the VCR.

He stopped it anyway.

So all I have is the first hour :P Right when they start talking about The Blues Brothers, the tape just stops :P

TV networks are unreliable. That's why when I tape an 'unmissable' show, I add 30 minutes onto the start and 1-2 hours onto the end :P
(I've taped a lot of infomercials :P)

Here's hoping they air it again...

It didn't record. My stupid DVD recorder says it was a "bad disc", like f*cking always.

That shows the current month schedule for John Belushi on TV... Atleast The Blues Brothers will be the last movie shown in 2005!

This is almost funny!
3 people all plan to tape it, and something goes wrong for all 3 of them!
Was there anything in this show that might have been bad or upsetting?
Maybe John's ghost doesn't want anyone seeing it

I am proud to say that I had no problem with tapeing this!!!! I stood up till it came on, watched the first hour, fell asleep cause i was passing out and watched the rest as soon as we got up. In bed.
i kept it on rec when i fell asleep so I also got the next THS that came on which is Phil Hartman!!!!!

One bad thing is the next day THS GILDA came on I caught it at the begining but did not get to tape it.

Out of all the Belushi biography's i seen this is a good one. lots of inside info, footage, good one.

Whos ready to trade??

Ha! I was thinking the opposite. I didn't even know it was gonna be on. The night before, as I was trying to sleep I found that I couldn't. Instead I decided to stay up all night drawing some BB fanart. Then I went downstairs to watch TV, turned to E! for some odd reason and saw it and went "eeeee!"
And I was just like " ;) ...weird..."
Of course, it was probably just a coincidence, but I'm letting my superstition get the best of me, here. XD

Haha, yeah. But it was a good one. I liked it. Made me cry at the end there. ;)

i remember danny saying something like he was writing ghostbusters at the time and he was actually writing a line for johns character when he got the call that he had died. ironic? i think he also said somethig about going over and telling judith the news about john.
