What Have We Learned

On March fifth a famous comedian went to rest
It was a sad and bitter day
When the sun rose the news traveled fast

The first to hear was his partner in fame
Dan had the daunting task of telling John's wife the terrible news
Not knowing what to say he blurted John is gone

As they fell to their knees sobbing violently
They couldn't believe he was gone
However they knew drugs must have been the cause

He was brought back to the east and laid to rest
As you can see his addiction led him there
Drugs not only killed him, but ruined the lives of all who loved him
Hopefully there is a lesson to be learned

Before people tell me Dan wasn't the first person to find out. I know it made the poem better. I know his trainer found his body.

You know what sucks. My teacher makes fun of me for liking Belushi. He has done a series of things that basically say you like him way to much. Oh well Belushi is the best!!!

Caitlin...two words. AWESOME POEM! And, forget about your teacher making fun of you. He doesn't know what a good person John Belushi was! Great job!

Yeah I'm trying to take the whole teacher thing as a grain of salt. I don't know what his problem is though.

John Belushi was great, that was a beautiful poem made a tear come to my eye, don't let your teacher make fun of you for liking him John was a good man and a bad boy.

Can you believe my teacher had the nerve to say to me

"Did you like the fact that the last five minutes of his life were spent hugging the throne?"

I said "No" then some girl laughed and he said

"Oh its true he died of an over dose"

He does this stuff to me all the time. Kind of cruel huh? Oh well I will always love Belushi!!!!

Thanks, and yeah it must be a teacher thing because most of the older people I tell that I like Belushi they are like wow that is so cool. So I don't know. Well I have like 37 more days with him then I have a new schedule.
