THe song title is "West L.A. Fadeaway" it was on the album "in the darK" released in 1987. The record released before that was in 1981-they did not record for 6 years, that's why there is such a gap.

It's a pretty good song, I have it on my Zune. Mellow.

Speaking of the Grateful Dead, what is the name of that song of theirs fr/ the '90s, right before Jerry Garcia died, that has the video done by life-size skeletons? The main line is like, "I will get by."

"Touch of Grey"
I got everything I need....almost...

"I was growing sick of rock and roll, it was starting to bore me...and I hated disco, so I needed some place to go. I hadn't heard much blues before. It felt good."-John Belushi

(Still inspiring me--and knowing me like a book)

If you're talking about the one that James Taylor sang at John's funeral, that is "That Lonesome Road", and was released in 1981 on the album Dad Loves His Work.
