and heres my story-
We parked our car under the El tracks and took the brown line train to the House of Blues. As we were walking to the house after we got off the train, we walked across the street intersection where the Bluesmobile took off the police cars lights in the first movie. We imeadiatly noticed it.
This is known as the $2000 shot as in the Chicago Sun Times explains in there 5 day tribute. We were affraid of running into a very long line to get in. I thought a lot of people would be there. As we got to the front doors,
there was no line. I could see Judy sitting at the table right threw the doors. This came as a suprise to me. Well I walked in and went straight up to Judy who was sitting at a small table in between to other guys. these guys were Tanner Colby, Judy's co-author and The other guy was Judys publisist. As I shook Judys hand I told her I been waiting my whole life to meet her. She is such a nice and careing person. I unfourtantly could not buy a copy of the book(they were $29) But I had Judy sign my origanal vhs box of the Blues Bros Movie and , She also signed my drawing of the BB logo. I had explained to her how I always wanted to draw the logo exactly like she does it. She told me she still has the origanal sketch she did at home. I asked Judy about the Revival show and she said they are in the works of planning new shows!! Even before I got to mention Blues Brothers Central to her, she mentioned it TO ME!!!
She said she visits the website and will be keeping us posted!!! How cool is that guys?? I didnt have a snap shot camera with me but I did have my video camera with me!!! Judy came around from the table and started dancing with me and my girl. She even did the famous Jake and Elwood together in hand dance with me!! and I have it on tape to proove it!!
It was such a great night it totally made up for the bad experiance me and my girl had on the BB concert. The only thing that was bad was that no one was there! Although It did start at 530pm , I arrived at abou 545pm so it was still earley. Tanner Colby also told me I would be the first to buy the book if I would. (to bad I was broke) But I thought the people of Chicago would defenitly support Judy on this. I thought there would be a line out the door. Whats the matter with the people in this city?? Judy was on tv that morning and also 3 differnt chicago radio apperances. There were also several newspaper articles that mentioned she was going to be there. I was really sad to see no one there. I really hope Judy makes it with this book. I encourage everyone who is a fan to go out there and buy a copy. Lets all help Judy do good with this. So there can be other things in the future.(more books, a movie) I really hope other people showed up and bought the book. She was gonna be there until 830pm I hope they came. I will buy the book as soon as I can. Everyone save up and buy it. We gotta help Judy!!!
I will be posting the autographs in the next few minutes while i scan them.
they will be available to see below in this thread.

"Oh life is like a maze of doors and they all open from the side you're on
Just keep on pushing hard boy, try as you may
You're going to wind up where you started from "

I hope she does come here and hangs out with us.
Keep in mind, though gang, that if she does not to be disrespectful in questions to her. I've been on boards in the past where celebrities (or their family) came in and ultimately got run off by billions of questions instead of letting them just be a fan of their own work or family members.

Even thoughI would have liked to ask her a million things, I kept it to a limit and kept it short. I do regret that I left so soon, with no one else being there yet but I didnt have enough money to buy the book so I was a lil embarresed. I didnt want Judy to think I am the type of fan you have to call security on either. lol. So I got my autograph's, got a lil video clip, Danced a lil with Judy and I left respectfully.
Judy if you are reading this, you are a great person and we all love you.

I'll probably help Judy by setting up an empty account for her. So she can login and post, but won't be able to receive private messages or emails. Similar to what I did for Dan Aykroyd (not that he actually ended up using the account
