There will eventually be a Tribute Bands listing on this site, where you can search by location and read reviews!

We are from South Florida "Blues Brothers Soul Band"
Blues Brothers Soul Band - Home Of The Blues

The two Lead singer are really brothers and have been doing the act for over 20 years.

Nice job indeed, great sounding.
One scary soul band as mean and righteous as a fist.

I am "sort of" in a tribute act.. basically started out with a mate going to karaoke's doing a routine, then went in for the odd talent contest.. later put a show together when my original Elwood quit & went solo & we had a new Elwood who wanted us to do a proper tribute act so started rehearsing etc & put a show together, did a couple of free (as in unpaid) gigs for charity, but it now looks like it's falling through because our 2nd Elwood has again gone solo.

I performed as Jake in the production for 14 years and last year I took over the mantle of Producer & Director.
The musicianship, players, singers and performance is exactly what it should be and now with the digital backdrop and set - it's progressed to another dimension!
Check it out.

You are absolutely right!
There aren't many who play harmonica, fortunately, in our production, both frontmen - Matt Hewitt & Mike Hyde - play live 'harp' if & when necessary.
That is because if I ever need to cover the 'front line' role in occasions of illness, either guy can play harp to cover the Elwood role.
Me, I'm 49 and have decided that the choreography, acrobatics and dance routines are much better suited and left to those far younger. Nowadays, I play the 'walk on' characters - much more suited to my personality and talents!
Mike - Elwood - is 27 and extremely agile and Matt - forget about his age! - is a full contact UK karate champion, so cartwheels, back flips, somersaults and the box splits (!) are never an issue.
Also, all of us have experienced bad acts in our time. They know who they are.....

it's all well & good "playing" the harp, but with some tributes the Elwood doesn't even attempt to mime playing or using one as a costume prop. Even if you can't play the harp, at least make the effort to. I know i've said before that if you can't play, don't play.. buit at least look as if you are.
