Bruce Willis is alright. I personly don't like him playing harp for two reason. First, there was a Cornell Dupree tribute concert at B.B. King's in NYC which had Gregg Allman, Devon Allman and a few other guys in it and my teacher (Jon Paris, Jonparis.com check him out!!!) was supposed to play harp. But it just so happened to be that a certain bige-time actor was in town and stole his spot!! Jon can play 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than Bruce Willis but it's all about fame. The second reason that I don't like Bruce as a harp player is that I saw a youtube video of a Ray Charles tribute concert. They brought out B.B. King and Billy Preston to do Sinner's Prayer. Now they could chose any harmonica player in the world to fit the bill. Maybe Kim Wilson? James Cotton? Mark Hummel? Howard Leavy? even someone like Sugar Blue?? nope they picked BRUCE WILLIS!! What is that??? I think people should leave acting to actors and harp playing to harp players.
Damn right I got the blues.:BB:

Um, isn't Dan Aykroyd/Elwood an actor? Isn't he also a harp player? Who says you can't be both?

Yeah that's a good point, but if it was him in these situations I'd be just as pissed. And yeah I disagree with my own statement a little because if Bruce could play like Kim Wilson or Mark Hummel than I wouldn't have said that but on the other hand, musicians make a living by getting gigs and people like Bruce Willis and stuff defiently don't need the money so I don't know

Actually I kind of agree with you in a way, but then I turn around and say to myself "The actors wanna play too!" So yeah. I see your point.

Yeah I definetly see your point. And it's not really too big of a problem but if Bruce Willis and Dan Aykroyd started traveling around stealing harp players' gigs because of their fame, then there would be something to complain about lol

So can the guy from "Jack Frost"... you know, the kids' movie with the snowman that comes alive?... *memory leaks the guy's name...* ... Michael Keaton! That's the guy! He plays harp, too. In fact, the story in the movie concerns a magical harp -- not long before his character passes, he gives his son his blues harp, tells him that when the kid plays, he'll hear. So of course, not long after his Dad passes, the kid plays it, and it calls up his Dad's spirit. Who ends up as a snowman. :3
But yeah, I knew Mr. Willis can play.
