Hi, i'd like to explain you my satisfaction to see booker t, duck, steve (& steve potts of course) at the begin of july here in italy at porretta soul festival.
the 3 original member are still very cool!!
I was waiting this moment (see duck dunn) from '98, the first time that i've seen the bb band live (pistoia blues festival) and i saw eric udel on bass...what the hell..with the maximum respect, but duck dunn has an enormous style..
So i've talked to duck, I've some photo with him and the lp "Mclemore avenue" autographed by the hole band.

Sounds cool, man.
I have a customer who used to play gigs on keys and guitar back "in the day," and he says he used to play with Duck Dunn some. Said Duck would show up late, his bass guitar out of tune, smokin' his pipe...
Sounds like Duck!

......sorry!!!
What more can I say Dan, it was really an awesome moment!!!
I'm a huge fan of the MG's (and of course of the BB too) and I didn't think that one day I would have seen the band in Italy.
The song list was great and I thing all the audience enjoy the show very much. I also see a lot of kids with the MG's albums in their hands triyng to catch some autogtaph. One of the greatest moment of the show was during the Soul Survivors performance:in the middle of the audience I saw Steve listetening to that music with great attention and admiration. I really beleive that this things can happen only in Porretta
