I didn't see your poll before I posted this one. Still, ours differ in that yours encompasses the post-Jake Blues era.

For me, The Blues Brothers is Jake and Elwood. Period. I respect everyone who likes the second movie, but this poll is probably more for "purists" like myself.

Consider yourself lucky not to have seen Blues Brothers 2000. :D

Every time I listen to Briefcase Full Of Blues, I can't help but marvel at how tight that band was. A classic.

There is some live footage from that era on the The Best Of The Blues Brothers DVD, but I don't know for certain that it's from those exact concerts. Still, worth checking out.

Actually my fave CD is Blues Brothers: The Definitive Collection. It was the first album of them I ever received and I love it. ^^ Plus that's basically where I learned Rubber Biscuit ^^

The Blues Brothers (Music from the Soundtrack) why you ask well this was the cd that got me loving them ;)

Elwood-leaving the next generation with nothing but recycled, digitally sampled techno grooves, quasi synth rhythms, pseudo songs of violence laden gangsta rap, acid pop, and simpering, saccharine, soulless slush.
