He's a rebel rocker, and he's still "Realin' and Rockin'" after all these years. There was so much more to this master than Bad To The Bone and Who Do You Love. He had plenty of good tunes in addition to those two.
One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer Move It On Over Nobody But Me (it's sad how heavily ignored this one is) I Drink Alone I'm Ready Treat Her Right If You Don't Stop Drinkin' (I'm Gonna Leave) Get A Haircut So many great songs. |

Thorogood always credited JLH as a major influence, and heck, the BB did all covers as well so no foul there! Buster & I have tix to see Thorogood and Buddy Guy together in Boston later this summer, can't wait for that... 11-year-old Buster LOVES George, and his favorites are "Get a Haircut" and "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" (he loves the Hoooker version too though).

Of course, one of George's other biggest influences was Bo Diddley, who passed today... rip.
