Default SNL tribute?

Does anyone know if SNL made a tribute to John after died? I remember they did one for Gilda Radner.

I think the "Best of John Belushi" was the equivalent of a tribute for him.

Well no, I mean the first show that aired after he died. Like, did they show a clip or did he have some kind of honorable mention?

Most TV shows would at least mention the death of a cast member at the end of a show with a 5-10 second "in loving memory" screen.

I remember watching the vhs tape of the the best of chris farley SNL and at the beginning one of the cast members talks about chris and says the in memory stuff, (the guy wasn't tracy morgan, i can't remember who but anyways). i don't remember seeing one for John. I have the best of John Belushi and i kind of agree with bbcentral, maybe that was his in memory of?

The timeline was:
Feb 20 1982 - SNL (Bruce Dern/Luther Vandross)
Feb 27 1982 - SNL (Elizabeth Ashley/Hall and Oates)
Mar 5 1982 - John Belushi passes away
Mar 6 1982 - No SNL
Mar 13 1982 - No SNL
Mar 20 1982 - SNL (Robert Urich/Mink DeVille)

So it ran for 5 weeks straight, John died on the Friday, and the March 6 (Saturday) episode of SNL was either canceled or it was never scheduled. There was also no March 13th episode of SNL.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...musical_guests
This page says that the original airing of the March 20th episode had a tribute to John.

My mistake about "Best of John Belushi", that was made in 1985
