Had to take the car back into the shop. Blew the left front brake line.. rust finally got to it. They also think the master cylinder is going. So thats getting replaced to. Their also gonna tear the dash apart and fix the blower motor and switch. After that, I dont think theres anything else mechanical to fix! Its all been replaced! haha. Cant complain, shes been the every day driver for the last couple months.. My trucks trans took a crap.. and its nice out so I can drive the car.

On another note, My work might be letting people go, and I might be one of em.. If they do, Im not gonna be able to make it to chicago.. But im not thinking that way, Im staying positive. Hope it wont happen, and its just rumors.. But Ive got a flight right to FL after I get back form chicago (If I go). If not gonna head down and look for a job, and hopefully not come back to MI. I hate this state!! But If all this does happen, there might be another blumo out on the market! As well as my newport.. I hope to god this doesnt happen, but time will tell.

Thanks TI! I hope nothing happens..Well ghost luckily Im young, and dont have a wife, and the only kids at the moment are the cars haha. But It would be REALLY hard to sell the blumo. Specially after all the work, and money ive put in her. I put the truck on craigslist, but had no bites. Newport will be next. I think the blumo would be the easy one to sell.. But thats the one I really wanna keep damnit haha

Well I talked to the boss man yesterday, and he ensures me that my jobs not going anywhere! Thank god! I was sweating bullets the last couple days. So now its full steam ahead with the original plans. Just gotta go break the blumo outa the shop hopefully monday. thanks again for the wishes, and luck!

Well I got da car back! Woo hoo! 2 1/2 weeks later lol I was going nuts without her. I was driving around in a 91 Die nasty (dynasty) haha, They did more to her for the trip coming up. Fixed the rest of the brakes (master cyl, left front brake line) They also put in a new blower motor (it was only working on the low speed) and a new blower switch. Also put in a diff radio with an mp3 jack. So I dont need a million cds for the trip to chicago lol.

I took her up to chelsea's car show yesterday. She got lots of attention. Everyone taking pics in front of her. Who knew the blumo was such a chick magnet??? haha It always kills me, all these nice cars, and heres a rusty 4 door getting all the attention lol. But I love it!





One more week to chicago! Cant wait!

The movie car did not have front or back bummper guards on the bumpers. Easy to remove ... after you remove the bumpers

Yea I know.. Tried taking the fronts off, but one bolt rusted on, and tried heating it up.. but it started messing with the chrome, didnt wanna hurt it. The fronts will be coming off as soon as I do a better pushbar.. Just a matter of time. But the rears are staying on. I like em!
