Yikes! I didn't realize it was from Taiwan! I wouldn't buy it either.

I'm a little confused. Surely the mirror is glass with a silver backing? Are you saying that the base that attaches to the door is steel, but the housing for the mirror is plastic, covered in silver paint? Whatever is plastic, it doesn't sound good, but I'm curious exactly what is going on. I attach the pic so we have it for reference after the e-bay ad expires.

thanks,
arthur

Correct for a bluesmobile, or correct for a Brougham?

I'm planning to re-skin my Brougham's fuel door, unless I can find a (bluesmobile) correct one.

Sorry, correct for a Bluesmobile! Hadn't looked into re-skinning the original, interesting idea!

This one doesn't look as boxy as it should be, but it's a closer match.

NOS MOPAR 1971 - 74 DODGE MONACO PLYMOUTH FURY MIRROR : eBay Motors (item 270576894121 end time May-16-10 21:05:51 PDT)

But.. ouch, that price looks a bit high.

Yeah, I do like that one, though... wouldn't pay a hundred bucks for it but might bid to maybe half that. Chris would still get first dibs, though! (If you're not interested, Mr. M, let me know and I'll probably throw a lower bid in there.) Thanks, TK....

Hey thanks , nice find . That is a bit pricey , but it is the manual design mirror but is the base correct ? He says 71 to 74 , but 74 is a different body style to a 71-73 . Now if he said 74 - 77 I'd feel better that it would fit . I had a one off a 75 new yorker and it looked like it would fit , but nooooooo !
