That was good, thanks!!! We did "Star City Motor Madness" in Roanoke VA a few years back and had a guy with a replica state police car 68 Fury "chasing us" in bumper to bumper traffic with his lights on, etc. People along the road thought that it was GREAT. We even had the REAL Roanoke cops laughing at us. (The Roanoke police are usually really VERY nice for the cruise night and the show, so THANKS to those men & women in uniform and the city too!!!)

I was wondering who the Blues Brothers were who were pulled over here by the Crown Vic! It's funny because the roller who was there, filmed it off his tv and provided some fairly comical narration! *same link* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4_y9-4OUFY |

I saw this clip again on TMZ last night.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNsniGZRa0A Apparently they're offering $6,000 to anyone who can identify the driver. |

Remember this one we saw for sale earlier this year? An ex-Alabama Brothers car. The guy who bought it started his own site for it!
http://bluesmobile.org/ I'm not sure if he's a member here. |

I copied these series of pics ages ago, before I got my car, and I am particularly fond of the graphics and overall look of this BM...I wanted to find the thread again, or contact the owner/member and ask some questions about his work...anyone know who it is?
Rob

I don't believe that is him standing in front of it, but both of those shots are of ChiTown's car.
Both before and after, his updated paint job. I also have a "Who's car is this?" question. Anyone know the answer to this one? ... This is the car used on the Wikipedia article. (I've also included a photo I found of the rear of the car) It has California plates.., but the photos were taken at the "Cavanaugh Flight Museum", located in Addison, Texas. |

Thanks, tk...I'm hoping ChiTown will weigh in here, so I can ask him a few questions!
Not sure about your Wiki pics...I've seen them floating on the web, but I'm not usre of the car's lineage... Rob

It looks like one that is in Rocky Mount, NC at a party site called MNO (Men's Night Out) it is a private site used for a big party. They have a car set up like that there, it is next to the main stage.

Yep. That's ChiTownJohn's car. He's put a lot of work into, loves it, ran it at the Chicago Emergency Vehicle Show last two years. Not the parade, the tire screeching course!
The dude in the top pic, I'm pretty sure, is John's friend Jerry. Dang cancer got ahold of him, December 2007. ChiTown has given us a ton of pics to this site. There is no two ways about it ... that is a Chicago Bluesmobile! I posed the question about that Wiki car once, tk. No responses. Is that car still in or around Texas? |

It is a great site, I call it like a Disneyland for drunks, always great music and food . Each site has a theme , a lot of work is done to keep up and improve the area. The guys go there to do this work, thats where MNO comes from. It is hard to get an invitation to this annual party.

Using the above info, I did a little searching for "MNO".
"Mens Night Out" MNO Lane Rocky Mount, NC It seems like an illusive place. There are several web pages that talk about it, but I have only found (one) page w/ any photos.. Pictures by whitewidow252 - Photobucket These are the only photos I've found... but, check out the first one, on the page. * Nice work Billwood Last edited by TK826; 22nd Jan 2009 at 01:24 PM. |
