Hey Everybody,
I've been a member here for quite a while, although this is my first post. Long time blues Brothers fan. I grew up just a couple miles outside Wauconda IL and was able to watch part of the the original movie as it was being filmed. (The Main St. and Phill's Beach stuff as well as the "I gotta' pull over" scene) I recently bought a 75' Monaco (ex) police cruiser and am searching for a few items. First on the list is the rear quarter panels, as the bottoms of the deep trunk sidewells are pretty much gone. I'm also searching for a replacement dashboard and both the front and back seats. So far these items are proving very difficult to find. I've written several salvage yards that specialize in classic automobiles, but none of them had a Monaco in their yards. Does anyone have a lead on where to find NOS or reproduction Monaco parts? Thanks. |

As far as the interior goes. Any 1974 Monaco or 1975 to 77 Royal Monaco all have the same interior. This might help if you widen your search.
Cheers dugal

Thanks for the Royal Monaco info.
I see you guys already have a thread on this very car. Yes, it was me. It was hard to pass up as it was located very close to where I live and the price was right. It runs and drives great. I think that if I can locate some quarter panels, a dash and a front seat, I'll be in buisness. (the rear seat isn't too bad... if I can find fabric for it) Last edited by TK826; 12th Aug 2006 at 08:09 PM. |

There was a Monaco Bluesmobile on eBay earlier this year, and the seller mentioned this place in San Jose, CA for body panels:
http://www.westcoastsheetmetal.com They have quarter panels and dashes (and more) for many kinds of cars, and can apparently locate what they don't have! By the way, tk0826, there was a "sister" car to yours on eBay a few years ago... 2001, I think. It was also a blue/blue '75 Monaco ex-Kansas Highway Patrol car with a 440. It had some serious rust, too. I don't know who owns it now (or if it even sold then). Dan |

I have a front seat from a premium 74, all power. It needs to be recovered, but otherwise all working and intact. I also have taillights for a 74, and some dash components. have a dashpad, but its cracked.
ANYONE NEED A 440 with tranny? got one right out of a 74 with a carter 4bbl. Was running when pulled from car. Out of car on stand if anyone want it! $750 for motor and tranny..... |

Alabama Blues Brothers,
What color is the dashpad that you have for sale? Mine is dark blue but has about 7 or 8 BIG cracks in it. (I keep cigarette butts all over the top to help cover some of them, but it looks pretty bad.) How about a cigarette lighter? I need one of those too. Some guy threw mine out the window. Thanks!

PotataBlues here, I have some expierence dealing with 70's Mopar products. Your best bet would be to join a C-Body forum and you can find all sorts of parts and talk to people who know where to find these things. I recall a site my buddy joined for C-Bodys called CBodyDryDock.com , try to do a google search incase i missed spelled it , but hey it got a cop motor a four hundred and forty cubic inch plant its got cop tires cop shocks cop suspension its the year made before the catylitic converter so it'll run good on regular gas, so is it the new BluesMobile or what.
