"Triple Rock" was a fictional name created for the movie.

It´s good to see it on great conditions.
Great pics, thanks for sharing!

one question: you guys, who have the chance to go those places and take pictures... why don´t you go dressed like a Blues Brother and be in the pics???
I´m waiting for the chance to go to NYC and take pics of the buildings where Ghostbusters was filmed... and of course, dressed like a ghostbusters to appear in the pics!!
Also I need to go to the Dakota Building, and pray 3 Imagines and 7 Give peace a chance, hehehe, Lennon is my Lord (sorry for the blasphemy)

You could get inside if you go back on Sunday, but they might not let you take pictures.

mainly because ,

1 , i dont do that , its not me ,

and

2 , except for my helping with travis out in his first visit to the mall close to twp years ago , almost every picture i take and post here is done while i am on company time . if i am in certain areas , i will usually take my lunch and do some snooping and shooting .

3, as posted above , i have more free time to do this on company time than on my time , and i have to wear my company uniform any way , and in some areas i stick out like a sore thumb , and i do not wish to draw any more attention to my self or my company as possible . i am polite , courtious , and respectfull of every area i go to and if asked why i am there i tell them why and direct them to this site . if i asked to leave certain areas ( and i have ), i do ) .
4 , the last thing i need is some one bugging my boss's with complaints . they know what i do on my lunch time and are pretty tolerant of it , and as far as i know they are members here , but i do not know who they are and do not want to. they have told me if they get excessive amounts they will ask me to stop . i dont want to have that happen .

Indeed, it would be a shame if you couldn't do this anymore. If your boss reads this, I would like to say thanks for being supportive.

I pass that church all the time.. The cross that stood at the very top of the church is gone.. When I was a kid and lived by the church. That cross was always at a angle and I always wondered when it was going to fall.

The firehouse is still a working engine company, but the guys there are very friendly. Although the interior GB HQ stuff was filmed in LA, the NYC firehouse has the GB2 sign hanging in the truck bay and they welcome fans popping in to take pictures.

I've been there a few times myself. (And it's just a few blocks away from the diner Mary Jane worked at in the first Spiderman flick...)

Also, the engine company incorperated the GB2 ghost into their station logo and you can buy a station t-shirt from them with it.

Help! I don't understand! How is this office block connected with the church? Is it what stands on the site today? Admittedly I've never been to Chicago, but I was led to believe that the church they filmed was still there. Am I seeing different pictures to everyone else?

I don't see any previous reference to an office block. The church is still standing and currently under repairs following a small fire. As takkuneg mentioned in another thread, all of Dixiesquare's pictures are gone, and this long story is told in the General Chat forum.

They seem to be gone now, but when I looked at this the other day, there were several pictures of an abandoned office block in this thread! Strange eh?
