There were 100 original concert posters ordered for use in the Blues Brother movie (ca. 1979/1980) that advertised for the concert at the Palace Ballroom. I have two left that I acquired from the ex-wife of the producer of the movie.

Tall statues! Phoenix, Arizona ...

These are life size Jake and Elwood Statues from the movie Blues Brothers. They are 6ft. tall and are made of fiber glass and resin. These retail brand new for over $2000 so get them for a great deal at $500 or B.O. These are in excellent condition.

Have I mentioned how much I hate those freaking Nostalgic Series dolls? A dressed-up Ken doll would look more like J&E than those things. I love the other ones, in the semi-dome packaging. I have those, they're so adorable. It's hilarious if you put them (9 inch height) up to a standard Barbie (about 12 inch height), and their eyes are right at boob level.

I still hope to one day adopt my friend's tall statues. I just hope she doesn't sell them to some goob of a stranger before I have a place to put them.

I think you might be confusing 2 different auctions.
The $150 poster was from the printers.
The $300 poster was from Robert K. Weiss's ex wife (apparently she also gave them one of Elwood's briefcases).

This ad mentions both - the printers and the ex-wife ...

I have two left that I acquired from the ex-wife of the producer of the movie. They come with CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY'S (COA). The ones I got were still in the cardboard package, the way they came from the printer.
