now we see elwood playin the harp in GIMME SOME LOVIN in the country bunker HOWEVER, we do not hera it in the song!! Now what im trying to find out is what key harmonica is he using?
for a pep rally, my highshool's band (which I was a part of)played GIMME SOME LOVIN' as per my request and knowing that its in The Blues Brothers, Im a huge BB fan, and I play the harp, my director asked me of play for it. I did and used my boss' amp and and mic (i didnt own my own at the time) and used a C HARP. Now this sounded pretty good and I had to make my own parts up cuz there isnt really a harp in the song, but it sounded a little off. When i used the school's PA system you couldnt really notice it but Im thinking the harp part would be in maybe B or B flat instead. Any ideas here or am I just rambling?
